1) Why France has one of the best school system ?
To me, French students are motivated to go to school but most of them are tired after school
To me education in Franceis great but there are too many lessons in a day, and we have too many holiday periods. The
students haven’t got much time and that is bad. The lessons aren’t too long and the teachers are strict but skilled.
In France, school is obligatory from 6 to 16 years old since 1967 in each of school buildings. According to internet 99% of French are literate so almost all the French have the means to go
to scool and to study and so to have a job. Depending PISA program, French school system is in deterioration because of difficult of the students in contents like
mathematics.
2) Why is football the French national sport ?
To me, football is the sport which is the most mediatised and famous in the whole world. Every weekend, we can watch a football match or go to a stadium to attend a match. And I believe
it’s nice.
To me football is older that the other team sports, the French have fallen in love with this sport and when new sports appear, they were less popular. The people
like the environment of football. And France have icons of this sport : Zidane, Henry...
To me football is mediatised because it is very widespread
on the world and it is different in each country . You don’t bored when you go to the stadium to see a football match because they are interesting and sometimes spectaculars. We have a very
good football team who have won “the world’s cup” in 1998 ; more we had a football’s ace whose name is Zidane. But this sport is sometimes violent and plenty of monney was diverted between
football teams but i’m quite sur football is a very interressant sport and it earn to be the french national sport.
3) Why is the Eiffel Tower one of the best French icons ?
To me The Eiffel tower is a good icon for France because it was exhibited at the World Fair in 1889 and 1900 and What people think of when they leave France is the Eiffel
Tower!!!
I believe the Eiffel tower is the most famous monument in France because it is situated in Paris, the French most populated and mediatised town. And it is a historic monument. It was created in honor of the universal exhibition in 1889 by Gustave Eiffel. To the foreigners, the Eiffel tower is the first monument which
symbolize Europe. So when they go to France and so go to Paris, the Eiffel tower is one of monuments which they visit at first.
4) Why is a french represented with a beret and a “baguette” ?
For me it’s just an old stereotype from the 1900-1950, but in fact it isn’t real.
5) Why is France a touristic country ?
In france, there are plenty of famous monuments which are restored and in good overall condition. I think tha because in France we have some nice towns and regions which invite foreigners to
come to France.
6) Why are the French good cooks?
Because there are a lot of regions and a lot of specialties. France has improved through history. A lot of cooks are
artists.
7) Is France an old country?
For me, France has a great history. We can glorify it but we shouldn't look backward. we must turn to the future.
8) Is France a green country?
In France, there are a lot of forests but France isn’t a “green” (ecologic) country because the people don’t
respect nature, we can see bottles of beer thrown down on the pavements, the cars aren’t green and the French take it to drive 500 meters. And when one must drive 3,11 miles (5
kilomètres) he prefers to take his car and leave his beautiful bike in the garage.
According archives, France has plenty of forests but it isn’t a
“green” country because French aren’t carful of the planete and pollute France. Some person like Nicloas Hullot o minister of ecology worry the ecology but at the moment, planet is still polute
and if they doesn’t take quick radical solutions, earth will be dead.
9) Is “liberté, égalité, fraternité” questionable?
Is this motto still topical?
Today, the French are free, they can go wherever they want and do what they want when they respect the laws. Many French respect the poor and the immigrants.
But, when we see immigrants put in camps where they cramp into these camps and they wait to return in their country where they have nothing, can we call that freedom?
When we see immigrants who work in France for 300 euros and the French are paid 1200 euros for the same work, xcan we call that equality?
When we see poor immigrants who sleep rough and people walk by doing nothing, can we call that fraternity?
For me the French motto is very questionable
10) Why is the French song declining?
We can't deny that French songs are in decline. Are they old-fashioned? Young people listen to English songs for the electro, the pop,
the rock'n roll, metal. The foreigners don’t like French songs. We must change that.
